Gardom's Edge

Archaeologists with a spindle whorl found at a Bronze Age site in Derbyshire. Several curious finds were unearthed at the site, Gardom's Edge, including a nearby house with it's entrance blocked by a grinding stone, and an earlier Neolithic bank with thousands of burnt rocks brought to the site from elsewhere. The archaeologists admitted that many of the site's mysteries may never be solved.
